The Great Lakes Islands Alliance (GLIA), a bi-national network of island communities, is the only entity in the Great Lakes region dedicated solely to the unique needs of island communities. The summit will bring together 75+ islanders to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with island living. Participants will include non-profit leaders, business owners, Chambers of Commerce, visitors bureaus, local elected officials, educators, island boards and committees, property owners, and more.
